Tributary Commons
I'm falling so i'M taking My Time
The Tributary Commons are the life and hub of the pack. Here, the pack resides, their dens, families, food, and survival lay here. the actually commons is placed strategically in a a clearing surrounded by a forest. Travel a few minutes, however, and youll run into a vast forest filled territory. From the clearing, there is a river that runs right at the entrance of the forest. Because of its claiming and alluring sound, wolves have to watch the pups to make sure they don't wander into the threating River.
Although no large prey roams the area, wolves may spot the common squirrel or rabbit hurrying away from the pack.

R E Y E S Tributary's beta female The wild current that belonged to the flowing torrent was audible to all that inhabited around it. A coat that consisted itself of various russets and other relevant hues gingerly bounded it's way upward, following the floral trail that would lead up to the vast beauty of the Commons. The female, her label announced itself as Reyes, a vain, yet virtuous beta of her tribe, the Tributary Pack. Her intentions would slide off as idle, or debatable to the uninitiated eye, however she had a mission imprinted in her thoughts. With wary paw placements and heedful, Reyes directed her anterior toward the summit of the miniature cascade, her golden honey optics observing all that laid around as her inanimate neighbours. Her ears flick an inch lower, her attention drawing to the unconfined waters that flowed freely, the continual beating rhythm drawing the dame into an almost trance-like state of utter awe. Reyes drew in a subtle breath, drawing out of her thoughts as she embraced a step forward, her motions falling dainty. She descended her nose and fronts of her lips into the crystalline liquid, the speed of the water was just right, and the cooling temperatures enhanced the richness. Already. the Beta inferred that the day wasn't going to turn on it's head. First post for Reyes! ^.^ And kinda 'meh' quality, but I'm drained on motivation, so take it easy on me. x3 214 Words | Tagged no one | i dunno what to put for dis box. |

the words are gonna bleed from me and i will sing no more A tall shadow striding in the open daylight. An incredibly peculiar sight if you weren't familiar with spotting it every day. But this creature was no mere shadow. It was a living thing, a mammal. A hunting machine. A wolf by the name of Tempest. He, too, pledged allegiance to the Tributary Pack. As a matter of fact, he sat at the metaphorical throne on the pack's hierarchy. An alpha. This was a title he was destined for, his lifetime goal. Alpha lineage. What could possibly go wrong? Well...words. Just a sentence could make his destiny crumble like an unstable wooden bridge above a canyon. It was up to Tempest, and Tempest alone, to pick up the scattered pieces of his life and march forward as if nothing had ever happened, as if he hadn't a care in the world. He had to make sacrifices, like any other wolf must when the time comes. He forced himself to give up the pampered life of an alpha's son and become but a lowly hermit like the good-natured wolves who were under him in order to defend his reputation and, much more importantly, his very own life. In time, he discovered the pack, and the pack discovered him. And thus he made the promise to defend and care for each wolf within the Tributary Pack, no matter the cost.
Tempest's story seems rather complicated, but it's far from it. It is, as a matter of fact, the simple tale of a wolf in a small pack who left to preserve a reputation, for they believed that there were dark deeds up his sleeves. Such rumors weren't true, of course, but he merely left before anything escalated. Simple, right? Right.
The alpha male gave his pelt a rough shake as he appeared in the pack's commons. His yellow eyes darted back and forth to take in his surroundings, and he took note of the beta. He respectfully dipped his head and barked, "Good day to you, Reyes."
//I don't usually have a lot of muse for my characters' first posts, but this one was probably one of my longest. XD

The fae looked up from the river, water dripping gracefully from her maw, shimmering in the sun as it fell. The cool Autumn air blew the female's pelt, the blends of brown, white, black, and other various colors swirling as her fur did. Adira silently swiveled her head, Reyes, her beta who lapping up the clear water, in sight. The alphess' gave a slight smile, although subtle. It was a joyous routine, quiet it as it was. The forest behind her apparently agreed as the birds flapped their wings lightly and chirped to their families. Adira huffed a breath in laughter as she thought of Tempest, whom would enjoy the silence. As the female thought this, ironic as it was, Tempest broke the calming silence.
"Good day to you, Reyes," The dark pelted male, alpha of Tributary, mused. At his voice, Adira gave a slight was of her tail. She padded across the soft terrain of grass and dirt, her paws lightly touching the ground, as she head over to the rest of the pack. Although small, they were a pack.
"Tempest," Adira said in a jovial manner, her ears plastered back in excitement. Although their mateship was complex and subtle, the alpha female enjoyed seeing her fellow alpha, mate or not. However, Adira had deep feelings for the male, and though she knew she would have to confront him about it later and settle everything, she was to enjoy this moment.
"Reyes," Adira quickly added, the same jovial tone following. NOTES ; I am excited to start roleplaying here! <3

R E Y E S Tributary's beta female "Good day to you, Reyes."The deep vocals of another wolf echoed across the forestry as it would soon draw in the russet female. Her ear twitched with discomfort, the origin of the salutations remaining unrevealed for the moment. Lifting her snout from the translucent surface that belonged to the cascade, Reyes' gaze swept the area of terrain that coated the woodland flooring, her muscles constricted, however the definition wasn't visible to the far out eye.As the Beta continually surveyed the neighbouring land, she fell heedul to the idea of the origin being her own Alpha. His coat soon became visible to Reyes, and the sight diminished her unease, for she held her utmost respect him, for both her alphas, at that."Greetings, Alpha Tempest," She announced, recalling his full title. Lowering her skull to mimic his head dip, she embraced two or three steps backward before returning forward, just as another voice chimed into the subtle conversation.
"Tempest. Reyes," The voice spoke, their vocals owning a more feminine highlight. Reyes' glare tore off Tempest's and onto her Alpha female's, Adira. "Alpha Adira," She added, dipping her crown once again. Already going so well! ^.^

the words are gonna bleed from me and i will sing no more Indeed, silence was considered a luxury for the dark-pelted wolf. Sometimes, those who weren't quite affiliated with the pack thought of him as a mute. While he preferred to speak only when it was required, there were times in which he wanted to break the silence and communicate in other to further strength the pack's bond. But he still enjoyed the silence. It was regarded by him as a time to collect your thoughts, analyze decisions, escape the buzz, or just not listen to anyone yapping in your ear. No one in the Tributary Pack was really irritating in Tempest's eyes, though. He thought that they were a well-disciplined bunch. A small pack, but one that could thrive if they worked hard enough. His ear's twitched when he heard a familiar tone ring. "Tempest. Reyes." An amused grin tugged at his maw immediately. Yes, it was Adira. He turned to face his fellow alpha. They shared a kind of love that was rather...interesting, to say the least. One the male didn't discuss to anyone outside of it. He, too, shared very strong feelings for the alphess, and would do anything to preserve their bond. As anyone would. Little did he realized how his passion for a silent world and his "all hands on deck" attitude could possibly alter it.
"Greetings, Adira," he mused, his tail wagging a bit as he addressed his mate. MEL @ ADOXOGRAPHY

The beta regarded the pair of alphas as she always did, with complete respect, dipping her head as she spoke. Adira returned the gesture, although she already notified Reyes that this was not necessary, as they were just sharing a mutual greeting. Even so, the chocolate female dipped her head. The alphess gave a slight smile, her posture relaxing, although Adira was not aware of the tension that she held, however she knew where it came from. The Coulee and Cordillera packs were growing, and with the feud not resolved, it could jeopardize their pack as well. But the female could not be worried for the moment, letting the consistency of the translucent liquid flowing over rocks and itself, calm her. She let her yellow orbs glaze over the river, before a very alluring voice spoke up again.
"Greetings, Adira," Tempest barked to her. Adira gave another smile, stepping forward so that they were now only a few feet apart. Her tail wagged almost in sync with his, before she allowed it to fall behind her, once again resuming the relaxed posture. She looked at him lovingly and gave a small smile, before she looked around the commons. The greenery from the grass and forestry was starting to fade to a light brown color; the color of autumn. The female particularly enjoyed this season, as prey would start looking for a place to reside, and a few herds always happened to stop by the river before head off on their way. This allowed the pack to gather their own food for winter. Although she enjoyed the season, winter was always a fear for the female. Elk, deer, and other prey became very scare, and it was harder to feed. But the pack was a small one of three, and the past winters had gone smoothly. Adira's dark tan ear flicked, returning her to the present. She surveyed the land quickly before observing her fellow pack mates quietly once again. NOTES ; N/A

˚º•º˚Healer of all, objective to all.˚º•º˚ A streak of fox coloured fur weaved through he underbrush of the forest. He was too large to be a fox, however. The young creature had stamina to spare, or perhaps it was just adrenaline. Paws hit the earth with silence and precision, never nearing a fallen branch or twig. He followed the breeze backwards, toward the scent of others of his kind. Perhaps of his species. He had yet to meet another canine like himself, aside from his siblings. The brute carried on through the trees until he came to a clearing. It was not an empty clearing. There were three. Two femmes and a brute. None of them were of his species. The Ethiopian was smaller than these wolves, but would be faster if he needed to survive. “Hello. My name is Kyo. I come from a pack far past your borders. I am a Medic, and I wish to share my knowledge and help with others. If you need a healing wolf, I offer my full service to you.” The ginger male finished his sentence and dipped his head in respect to the three wolves. He was soft spoken, but his voice rang clearly. The uncommon canid stepped forth further, with his fur flat and his eyes lowered. It was clear to any wolf that he meant no harm and was no threat.

the words are gonna bleed from me and i will sing no more It was that kind of silence that Tempest enjoyed. His gaze had rested on Adira as she smiled at him, and it refused to budge. There were little things in this life that brought joy to his heart, that would "keep him warm," if you will. One loving glance and he would be kept content, locked in a sort of trance for some time before being dragged into the often cruel reality. Yes, cruel. Enemies like wolves and predators, but also natural foes like disasters and starvation. Mother Nature and Father Time were a harsh couple, ruling their vast empire that stretched across the entire planet with a cold iron fist. They were the King and Queen, the sole rulers, of an enormous world whose inhabitants just had to be restrained. And that was done solely through intense punishment, may it be famine, enemies knocking on one's door, catastrophic events or other occurrences that could even be deemed unthinkable.
The dominant male was once again pushed to reality, and his gaze landed on a smaller canine, a wolf. A wolf whose species was none like he had ever seen before. A very peculiar sight. This fox-colored wolf introduced himself as Kyo, and he...offered services? The Tributary Pack didn't have a proper medic, didn't it? Perhaps Kyo's service could be used. Tempest looked at Reyes, and then Adira, and then back to Reyes, and then Adira constantly as to see their reaction to the sudden appearance, and the offer. What did they believe was right in this situation? In Tempest's opinion, Kyo could be rather useful to their pack. They needed a healing wolf regardless. MEL @ ADOXOGRAPHY

Adira's gaze never wandered far from Tempest. Although he didn't seemed to be entirely focused on herself, the female didn't expect him to be. She often found her fellow alpha pondering deeply about... the things he thought about. Because of his silent ways the wolves knew very little of what said thoughts were about, but whatever they were, Tempest thought of them a lot. However, Adira didn't mind much. She enjoyed watching him think, she found it quite interesting. The brown colored female heard the voice of the red male and snapped her head in his direction. There stood a smaller wolf, his appearance could be mistaken for a fox. Her yellow eyes narrowed towards the new male, then quickly shift to Tempest, then to Reyes. Adira's eyes met Tempest as he looked for their reactions as well. The female regained her leader senses, and stepped toward, the ground muffling the step she took towards the rogue.
"Kyo, hello. You say you are a medic? We are in need of a healer around here," she said in a calm, welcoming manner, it could even be taken as a joking tone. Her eyes now watched for any threatening signs, any that could be aggressive. The forest behind her, however, seemed unalarmed by the new presence. The river still powered forward, birds still nestled in the trees above, leaves still waved in the soft wind. The sounds and feeling was all too familiar, even with the new male, the surrounding area never changed. This seemed to relax Adira as her mindset became more friendly. Only the ones closest to her would notice her subtle change in mood and posture, this new male would notice no change,
"I am Adira, alphess of this land and pack. Tempest," she gave a quick nod to the dark male, "is the alpha male. And that is beta Reyes," she introduced the pack, adding their titles as to address dominance and roles to the rogue, Kyo. NOTES ; My last post and this one contain exactly the same amount of words. R E Y E S Tributary's beta female Reyes' attention was drawn downward to the stream of thrashing water, the vibrations it generated appealed to the beta's ears as they flicked at a quick pace, her golden honey optics examining the opposite side of the watercourse, her tail falling limp as she descended herself onto her torso. “Hello. My name is Kyo. I come from a pack far past your borders. I am a Medic, and I wish to share my knowledge and help with others. If you need a healing wolf, I offer my full service to you.”The vocals were foreign to the coastal canine. She altered her gaze until they met the gaze of a petite, fox-like wolf. Was it even a wolf? From his statement, his sentiment seemed unfazed and his intentions genuine. Removing her eyes from the russet male, they glanced toward her Alphaess, then to her consort. She expected Tempest to speak, but Adira was first to address him."Kyo, hello. You say you are a medic? We are in need of a healer around here. I am Adira, alphess of this land and pack. Tempest," she gave a quick nod to the dark male, "is the alpha male. And that is beta Reyes."
Reyes offered the brute titled as 'Kyo', a nod as the dominate fae introduced her name, along with her ranking. He certainly was a peculiar one, with his coat and all. Perhaps, he would serve as an asset.
Kind of late, apologizes!

the words are gonna bleed from me and i will sing no more The gang's all here, then. Tempest's gaze landed on the beta male, and he dipped his head respectfully. "Good day, Kiaga," he barked in greeting. The alpha held plenty of respect for the male, for not too many blind wolves could achieve the rank of beta male in a pack. If he were blind, he wouldn't stand it, wouldn't figure out how to survive as an adult wolf. In his eyes, the fact that Kiaga was able to go through life was something worthy of honor. "This is Kyo, a newcomer to our pack offering medical services...that is, if the others have made a decision." Tempest glanced over at Reyes and his fellow alpha, as if inquiring silently, well? He had made up his mind, but was curious as to how Adira and the betas would form a reply. MEL @ ADOXOGRAPHY
